If anyone sees a very shiny (I washed it on Sunday!) Grey Audi TT Roadster zooming along the M6 or M5 tomorrow afternoon, that'll be me ...unless there are speed cameras, then it'll be less zoom and more tootle.
I have my lucky earrings packed, my lucky 5p, my lucky 20p, NOT my lucky mug (I have been banned from taking this into the hotel restaurant at breakfast), my lucky plastic horses so all set.....but just in case lucky alone doesn't cut it (I jest of course!), I have my CheltFest guides, my old race spreadsheets from previous Festivals and enough information in my brain to keep a bookie busy.
For obvious reasons, there are no selections on today's blog but I'll put my Cheltenham fancies up each night/early morning before I join the happy throng at the home of jumps racing.

To get you in the mood, here's a vid (especially for Jamie from Damien!)
I just flipped open my Racing Post Festival Guide at this page and thought it was a bit mean ...until I fully opened the pages
If you feel confident of your cheltenham selections, there is an abundance of competitions out there in cyberspace that are run by like-minded people who have put a great deal of effort in. They all offer some great fun (and some with prizes). Here are some of the best I've come across:
Mart Wes Cheltenham Festival 2012 Competition - you need to follow @MartWes and find his tweet announcing his comp and retweet it. You'll need to be quick though - entries in for 5pm Monday 12 March.
Chutney Dave's Cheltenham Festival Competition - Choose 4 horses each day as if for a Lucky 15 and either tweet them to @chutneydave or email to lucky15entry@yahoo.com before 12:45 on race day
Betting Portal Competition - either follow @bettingportal and @bluesq on twitter and tweet that you've entered or do the Facebook thing or join the mailing list (all instructions on the site)
