Monday Arrival - 12 March

I'm here!  My trusty steed had stamina in abundance despite top weight.....gave her a breather on the downhill on the  M6 outside Birmingham but then she left them all standing back up the hill showing a remarkable turn of foot in the last couple of furlongs.  Beat the standard time (Google maps) of 2:34 by 20 minutes despite a stricken runner meaning bypassing one of the fences in the home straight!  The change in going throughout was remarkable, starting off soft (heavy in places) and becoming good near the winning post - which would suggest watering is definitely required.

As you can summise, I've arrived safe and well with one thing on the brain and raring to go.

I'm going to jot down findings and thoughts as I work my way through each race then put my selections at the bottom.  Hopefully there'll be a winner or two amongst them!  I've decided to look for a win bet and an each way selection for each race.

I'll put my nap up each night and then add the rest of the selections for early morning on raceday.

Good luck to all of us this week and most of all ENJOY !

I am quite sure that I won't be alone in choosing Hurricane Fly (Champion Hurdle 15:20) as my first day nap.

More in the morning...............
