57 races today hence the title! This will be a busy busy day of racing with eight meetings in Britain and Ireland with Naas seemingly having the classiest card today.
My hat's visit to Haydock was wonderful fun despite the drizzle and just the single winner. We set up camp for the day at a perfectly positioned table in the new(ish) Pavilion restaurant right next to the window looking straight out at the paddock where we could watch the runners parade without leaving our seats.
Everything stopped at 4pm to watch the Derby and any remaining doubts about Joseph O'Brien's riding ability were put to bed once and for all. The lad has cojones of steel to wait and wait and wait before making a move....and what a horse Camelot is!
I found myself walking behind Emma Spencer and Mike Cattermole at one point and the petite Emma is slimmer than she looks on TV so Joseph O'Brien must be terrifically rail thin when you look back at the picture I posted up here a week or two ago!
The lure of a trip to Leicester races tomorrow (as a street party avoidance ploy!) with it's exciting card of two maidens, a claimer and several class 6 races has just increased ten fold when I looked at the feature race - the 15:15 Diamond Jubilee classs 4 handicap. Not at all shabby!
It looks as though it will be all about AP today at Towcester and he ought to be getting at least a hat trick there...Richard Hannon should be up for an across the card treble at least today also.
Rambling over and back to the matter at hand and since there is so much racing today, I've cherry picked those races which I have a better success with for an each way Lucky 15 below
Well my 15 pts Lucky 15 (Betfair SPs) returned 18.86 pts so a profit was made albeit small.

1/ Very
different ground to the good to firm that he won on here lto but his breeding
suggests that some soft shouldn’t be a problem.
Same jockey Brendan Power Jr is
booked again and the handicapper hasn’t been too brutal. He has the best form on paper but his usual
hold up tactics won’t be be an option today in such a small field and there is
always the danger of the ‘bounce’ especially with the recent change of stable
so I won’t be putting my house on!
2/ Not
very original but this ought to be a penalty kick barring mishaps.

Notes:
1/
Hot Rod Mamma usually does her winning in July and August and in double figured
fields but the ground is good to firm
and summerlike and the presence of at least 3 front runners should ensure a
gallop for her to aim at. Shane Kelly
has a good record here and has won on her before so the 5lb claim could make
the difference today.
2/ Oratory has been steadily improving but
running over 10f when with Keith Dalgleish.
I think this stiff mile will suit much better and with his good draw,
his ground and Micky Fenton who rides here well, he should have at least a
place shout.
