This is a funny time of the year for flat racing. The form seems to depart from any sort of rational logic ......or rather from the tiny amount of rational logic there is!!!
I’ve just spent absolutely ages updating my draw bias records which I hadn’t done since Wednesday. I usually do this each evening and now I remember why!
Monday’s system selections are:
Much better day today - the two selections that ran both won! Profit of +11.60
Well my little 10p each way acc benefited from the abandonment and NR - my 20p stake yielded £1.97 return!
Something I have noticed over the past week is that the winners are not only coming from trainers who do well at that particular track for the age class but whose (shrewd or owner-nagged?) trainers are dropping their runners down a class to give them a fighting chance of a win before the end of the season!. This combination of two factors may be worth watching out for.......I'll keep tabs and see how many (if any) of the 17 runners who fit this criteria come up trumps today!
I did keep tabs and it's not worth bothering about!
