Awful day which I shall blame on the rain and the new whip rules (well they have to be good for something!) with a loss of -6 

I really must remember to keep an ongoing list of blog selections that were then scratched  - Indian Mist (a blog selection last Monday) won today at Windsor 11/4!........................

As well as branching off in the manufacture of self-counting whips which have a red led lighting up at the rider end when the preset number of 'hit's has been reached (7 or 8), it might be a wise move to also buy shares in TV and technology companies who supply race courses  - because the stewards are going to need all the help they can get.

I'm sure everyone will remember this from around a year ago (I still haven't figured out how it is that this example can be used to both support and denounce the new whip rules but somehow  it manages to do so!)
