15 Days Til Xmas Saturday Selections & Updates - 10 December

This will be somewhat of an "organic" blog that grows throughout the course of the morning.  I was celebrating my other half's birthday last night with the family and you'd be proud of my clear head this morning - it takes more than 2 or 3 glasses of shandy and I've long since given up trying to match the Irish drinking technique!

As you all know by now, Denman has retired due to an (relatively) minor injury.  This means he can now play, bite, graze, bite stablemates, do the natural procreational thing, bite people, laugh at Kauto when he's being loaded for a race, roll in mud, bite grass, eat to his hearts content and bite passers by.  A real character!

The first abandoned meeting of the season with Lingfield abandoning due to their frozen track...and I have a feeling that Ruby is in for a good day and a punter could do worse than blindly following his rides today certainly Hinterland, Join Together and Deireadh Re anyway!

Lots of pretty colours and some excellent results for Cheltenham but the others not so clever.  
Cheltenham selections turned a profit of +5.38 but with the others added to the mix it's a loss of -2.25

Here are the crew of HMS Ocean and their rendition of All I Want For Christmas - their 7 week deployment turned out to be 7 months and they all arrived home yesterday.  You've probably seen it but it will still start your Saturday with a smile ( and make sure you watch right to the end!)
