The Racing Post kindly sent me another (unsolicited) calendar advertising leaflet today to put on my fridge ... ...I'm beginning to think three on there may be overkill but hey ho !
My white rabbits didn't bring much luck yesterday.
In the 14:25 David Bass was unseated from Larks Lad (below) who looked as though he couldn't quite make his mind up between the Fosbury Flop or scissors when he approached the first few fences. He was just getting into it and finding some fluency when he must have decided that he'd have more of an edge without his jockey.
Lucky Landing was really enjoying himself in the same race until he ran out of steam very quickly and was pulled up (breathing problems?)
In the 18:30 Wooden King didn't feel much like playing racing and generously allowed the others first dibs of the winning post and like all good ew bets Lastkingofscotland finished 4th in the 19:30.
Excellent day today and the best ever profits for this here blog! Tomorrow morning will find me sitting in the same lucky slippers, wearing the same lucky earrings and drinking from the good ol faithful lucky mug. 11 races, 6 winners and two 2nds and a profit of +16.01 (94%)
Notes:
Now that it's December, I can officially play Christmas tunes..... yay! This means that Chris Rea and Driving Home For Christmas is back on the playlist - although my son thinks that every song Chris Rea has ever recorded is just a variation on Driving Home For Christmas (they don't all sound that similar!)

1/ Traitor is poles ahead in class than
the others and really ought to win easily but in there is the danger that he
needs a tow and in this small field he won’t get one so I’m ew WITH Rasam Aldar
