Monday's Selections & Updates - 09 January

I like cows!  The blog had great results with the Hereford card yesterday with 5 of the 7 race winners (although my nap disappointed and bounced higher than Zebedee!).  I must stick with my 'top row' selections for this course regardless of how much I try to talk myself out of it!  In fact, any course where I have 40%+ strike rate is probably worth doing the same for - Taunton is currently 44.19%...but then again it is a Monday which means the form gremlins will have been to work sabotaging logic and sense!

Venetia Williams's yard is firing out winners at the moment both the two races at Hereford yesterday where I didn't find the winner were trained by her.

A winner each end of the card and the first big priced winner one made all the difference
with profits of +17.00 (106.25%)

Ruby Walsh is riding at Taunton on Monday - it may be worth noting that he is 52% strike rate over hurdles here which has helped me in deciding my nap of the day below:

Notes::
3/             The second column choice was very close between Rangitoto and Vion Griego, however Rangitoto has been a sounder jumper up to now.
5/             The RP website told me tales earlier and it appeared as though Tigre D'Aron was a NR which is why (for a brief time) Philadelphus was top line pick.  Dantari is very interesting at a price as well!
7/             Lawney Hill is not red hot just at the moment so it would be rude not to pick a Brendan Powell ride today!
