OK, I'm fed up of cold, frost, snow and all weather racing now. Someone tell it to go back to Siberia or wherever it's come from and give us our NH racing back please!
The snow has reminded me that Steve Drowne won the first race of White Turf at St Moritz on Sunday aboard Lodano for Miroslav Weiss- his was the only name I recognised though (Steve Drowne's that is, not Miroslav Weiss!) There'll be more ice racing for the next two Sundays although I have had no luck finding any TV or online coverage of it.
We are left with one fixture at Kempton on Wednesday and they don't have an inspection planned! Don't get too excited though - there are two class 7 races (some people wont' even believe such a thing exists!), a class 6, four class 5's and ....wait for it...a class 4 (with seven runners) Wahey !!
So in the absence of any quality racing, I have made it my mission today to cheer you up -starting with a joke:

This is one of the funniest horseracing/betting sketches ever to hit the UK screen (the commentary at the end is pure class alone!) and I now have the name Sad Ken to add to my ever growing wish list of racehorses that I shall one day own.......
Needless to day, none of the selections today are for investing too much of my hard-earned on and most have negatives against them, so I have (hopefully) sorted the wheat from the chaff however each way will be the order of the day and a winner would be a bonus!

I shall draw a line under it and vow never to bother with class 7s at Kempton again even (especially?) when there is no other racing. On the plus side, I cheered myself up by watching Bottom/Sad Ken (above) and wondering how I managed to pick 11 of them for my blog selections today! All resulting in an horrific -12.44 loss
