Not much blog today ...to be honest I'm not sure that there will be a lot of racing going ahead on Thursday so I figure it's as good a day as any for some stats work and study.......
...........I can't even mention Sir Michael Stoute's runner today as he has none until Friday
www.speedyequines.com picks are up though - a good profit was hauled in there yesterday
Will be back for Friday with some more chatty blabberings and selections!

Good grief, Punchestown is ON. They are running the hurdles, bumper and La Touche and racing begins at 16:40.
I shall stick with my "must have place at Punchestown or won at Cheltenham" + "won on heavy" formula which worked fairly well yesterday (where such a candidate is lining up)
No way would racing have gone ahead in Britain in such conditions as Punchestown have right now. Health & Safety would be having fits in case someone slipped on a soggy sandwich wrapper that's blown across the car park and the horses aren't wearing the correct shoes for the conditions (grooves in their plates?)
In all seriousness though, we all hope that all runners and riders come home safe and sound today.
