Wednesday’s Selections (27th July) & Results

Non-System Selections:

Sea Salt in the last at Redcar (17:40) today looks to have his best chance for a while.  He’s dropping back into a class 6 and Shane Kelly is up claiming a valuable 7lbs.  His last win came over C&D (same G/F) from a higher mark so at this first attempt at the same since and with a decent draw, the 6/1 on offer at the moment looks good value for a decent each way bet.  2nd - beaten by a sh.

I’m certain that whatever the result, by around 15:11:37 we will all have watched an enthralling race – not least because with a field of only four, this will be a fascinating display of tactics from four top jockeys.  Not to cast doubt on my system here, but statistically speaking 3yo do better, favourites do best and no horse has won the Sussex 2 years running for ...however many years???  So the signs would point to Frankel but I shall keep the faith and put my £££££ on the pick.
