Sunday's Selections & Results on Rugby World Cup Final Day - 23 October

Yesterday Camelot looked like a Derby winner and Master Minded looked as if he needed the run - I thought he looked as if he was carrying some condition and apparently he had a good blow afterwards.

Today’s selections are:
Aintree
14:00  Major Dance With Hollow Tree out it won’t take much to win and isn’t a race to put much  of your £££ on – should be entertaining to watch though!
PU If only they had 10f hurdle races!  Jumps fine but no stamina
14:35  Champion Court Was pulling like a train LTO and should settle better here today with that season debut behind him

(3.13) 1st

15:10  Benny Be Good A sod of a race to work out and I won’t be giving the winner too much credit.  A field of chasers using this as a seasonal pipe opener and hurdlers who’ll come on for the run.  Another not to invest too many £££s in
UP Like all each way priced bets - 4th!

15:45  Quito De Tresor UP

16:20  Barbatos (2.81) 1st

16:55  Talkonthestreet 2nd Royal Guardsman would have been the pick if the stable was going a bit better at present so taking a chance with this one who won a PtP in April before coming to Hobbs.

Small loss at -0.06
although if like me you'd backed these before start of racing you'd be up

(14:00) .....  Do watch - it's brilliant!

Ouch ouch ouch!  This was George Baker in hospital last night with a fracture straight through his humerus just below the ball joint.

He came off when Flowing Cape went wrong at Wolverhampton last night.
