Tuesday's Selections & Results - 18 October (Frankel Doesn't Jump for Polo Mints)

Today there were fourteen races on the flat yesterday with just one winning favourite and the shortest priced winner came in at 7/2 - this means that the bookies winter holiday fund raising campaign is now in full swing!  I've been keeping tabs on and re-familiarising myself with NH racing these past 2-3 weeks so the time has come to make the switch!!

All four hooves in the air at once is what initially enticed me in to the wonderful world that is horse racing.  Now that the 'proper' NH racing has begun to find it's rhythm I shall now concentrate on this (and the AW) - apart from the odd big turf race and meetings and occasional nugget of gold.

So I shall once more be asking that age old question "Does he run well fresh?" and telling my daughter that the pretty one is Richard Johnson!!

Have you noticed how I have so far bitten my tongue and not mentioned that the BHA delayed their announcement on Monday until 6pm only to announce that they will delay their announcement until Friday?

Tuesday's Selections are:

Have you ever noticed just how many horses have rhthym rythym rhythym rhythm in their name somewhere.....I have a mindblock with that word and have a dreadful time spelling it - even with a spellchecker!

Swapped a D for a CR and an E for an A - well what's a couple of letters between friends!!.....
