Saturday's Selections & Most Excellent Profits - 10 March
While I was just fixing the countdown timer above, I got to thinking just how much pressure the starter is for the first race on Tuesday! After all, you can't have the roar fading into a groan can you?

Notes:
1/ Very difficult….Carrigmorna King 2nd is
on the shortlist as well!
3/ I know Ruby rates Ted Spread and he
has Chelt Fest entries but winning a 2 miler (alright 2 miles + 1f !) at Sandown and/or
Cheltenham isn’t the same as at Taunton.
I would suggest his 4th at Ascot where he emptied in the last
furlong is probably a more realistic guide….Ile De Re on the other hand is
jumping up considerably in class (but could only beat the other horses in his
races) and is a C&D winner with a super light weight today….and what’s
Pateese doing at such a big price in a race where you can be paid each way on the
first five!?!

The nap drifted out to an each way price in the end. Ted Spread performed as I thought he would and Ambion Wood's class made up for his top weight. Excellent day with only one winner but at the price that's all that was needed!. profits of +10.99 (110%)
Eurohunter Ayr 14:15
A race horse boasted to his stable mates "I won 8 of my last 15 races!"
Another horse responded, "Oh, yeah? Well I won 19 of my last 27 races!"
A third said, "That's not bad, but I won 28 of my last 36 races!" A greyhound piped up, "Not to boast, but I won 88 of my last 90 races!" The horses were amazed. "Wow! A talking dog!"
