You have to feel for Richard Hughes in what may well be his last full season as a jockey. The BHA have upheld the Mickey Mouse 50 day ban handed to him in India for "not riding to instructions" - an offence which isn't even recognised in this country and which still has a month to run.
It was the (wealthy) owners of the horse who complained to the authorities in India and Hughsie was not allowed legal or official representation at the Indian hearing when the ban was meted out - naturally the owners were represented to the hilt! I can imagine that British and Irish jocks may think twice about riding in India next winter - the Middle East and Hong Kong must surely be more attractive options for a winter career?
A profit for the blog selections and the nap Caravel absolutely hosed up. When I tipped him on here Tuesday night, I backed him at 5/2 and am glad I didn't wait as the price shortened to 5/4 SP!
The alternative trial method selections on the separate page also did very well yesterday with Ludlow working out well and once again Lingfield looks to be a course that this method will work well with (three of the four meetings at Lingfield I've covered have resulted in profits). I'm keeping tabs and this way I'll be able to select which method is most effective for particular courses/meetings. The initial idea was to develop a place pot selection method (hasn't come up with one yet!) but if I'd put a Heinz on some of these over the past few days, then I would have turned a tidy profit!
I've added today's (Thursday) now and Limerick and Kempton will be up in a short while.
Well if you're looking for a 2nd at Kempton, apparently I'm your girl!
A profit today (and a tasty forecast at Newcastle) of +2.17 (+13.56%)

1/ Carrietau is included as it comes
out top of my sheet in both total columns (meaningless to anyone else I know)
but with my Newcastle strike rate at 34.78% and 2m 4f class 4 chases being next
best to 2m novice class 4 hurdles, it has to be mentioned!!! Fred Bojangals also looks overpriced.....

The AW Jockey title race is nearing 'squeaky bum time' (as a certain racehorse owner with red silks and nose one said) with Luke Morris getting a double on Wednesday. Just 3 days left! You can still vote on who you want to win in the top right!
