Tuesday's Selections & Results - 27 December

Want a close look at my teeth
Mr Dentist jockey man? Hah!
I reckon there was more than one grown man with a tear in his eye at around 15:16 on Monday.......Kauto Star winning his record breaking 5th King George chase was joyous to behold and would have moved even Chuck Norris to tears.   He'll be paraded at The Manor House Inn in Ditcheat at 12.30pm Tuesday........ he spends so much time parading outside that pub that they ought to name a beer after him.

Sadly in the same race, Master Minded suffered a tendon injury after striking into himself in the same race which is serious enough to put his racing career in some doubt.  Fingers crossed that he'll be able to make a full recovery.

There's a race at Kempton today (13:25)  with three horses in!  Often a race with a field this size can incredibly boring with the result a foregone conclusion but Peddler's Cross v. Sprinter Sacre (sorry Harry Hunt!) is a bit of a mouth waterer.......it'll be like chess in equine format.

I won't hear of any outcome other than PC winning though!

Some nasty results today!  Sous Les Cieux, Peddlers (sob!) and Red Jade all kept the bookies happy.

Notes:
1/            I’m not convinced the Ranjaan will like this track!  Kie has a penalty but the manner in which he won his penultimate outing would indicate this shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

3/            Lifestyle would be the form pick but I think the penalty will do for him. Dineur has got off quite lightly for his win LTO (be great to see Christian Williams ride a winner after his terrible injury as well!)

15:05 - PaddyPower Chase - I can't decide between Becauseicouldntsee, Aigle D'Or or Sona Sasta so since PaddyPower are paying the first five places, I'll each way all three!
