Record breaking Nicky Henderson won every one of the seven races he had entries in yesterday and even though five of them were at odds on prices, a £1 accumulator would have yielded £70 (give or take pennies) return. Nice to hear that one punter had one £100 accumulator with all seven as well as a second £100 acc without Whoops A Daisy. Somehow I don't think his runners will be priced too high today!
Would you look at the prices of those two 2nd places? They are ones that got away. Betfair SPs had Dodgey Dream at 9.98 for the place, Short Supply 7.28 and Il Battista 2.29 so although the win stakes show a loss of -4.41, in reality the placed horses were backed each way (by moi!) and a profit made. I'll have to figure a more realistic way of totting up now that I'm selecting a 'danger horse' as well as the primary choice - perhaps a win and a place bet where you can get the place bet at 3s or more.

that Daaweitza may not get the pace that he needs and Brockfield could get
things all his own way – only negative is the lack of previous fibresand form
but he’s performed well on soft going before which suggests he’ll handle it

The news that Fallon was yesterday fined £3140 for misleading a steward at Chester last May during a 10 second 'informal conversation' makes no sense to me! He attended a formal hearing about this lateness (he missed 2 rides) and his explanation given at the official interview was accepted and found not to be misleading. Months later, this 10 second informal exchange was again resurrected and the implication has been hinted at in the press that Fallon was deliberately late to avoid testing positive for an alcohol test.......
Update: It has now been announced that Fallon was late because he popped in to a police station to take a voluntary breath test to ensure that he wouldn't have been over the limit for riding (he wasn't driving) as he didn't want to risk a riding ban. He was late because when he came out of the station, his driver and car had been moved on by a traffic warden. This was announced by his solicitor in advance on the BHAs disciplinary panel's reasons going public. So he avoided the ban (Franny got 40 days!) but got a large fine instead. Moral of the story must be that the BHA are not going to let you get one over on them...unless you're a QC ........and trainer .........who sometimes does some work for them......hmmm
