Apologies for delays, layout problems and all other problems that I shall blame on the BT Internet monkeys who are currently digging up the road and playing with cables a few yards from my house! It's like being back in the days of dial up.....aaaah!
Well if Ayr hadn't been abandoned, I'd have picked the winners of every race .....honest!
I have an uneaten chicken dinner in the fridge so I need to find a winner that returns better than 1/7 (the 2 I selected yesterday were short odds on!) Hereford is usually kind to me so I shall concentrate on this meeting for Wednesday....plus some of the Kempton races later on - hopefully the chicken dinner will be eaten.

Nicky Henderson says that Long Run will strip fitter after his Betfair Chase season debut... he wasn't "ready enough" ......I'm saying nothing but the words obvious and state would be in the same sentence if I did!
Lough Derg (Douglas to his friends) has been retired after his disappointing showing at Aintree last time out. Regular jockey Tom Scudamore reported back after the race that he was telling them he'd had enough - I'm so glad that connections have listened to the jockey (who listened to the horse) and he is retired in one piece.
Bookies at Wolves had a 156% over-round on one particular race on Monday - shortening prices without lengthening others. That's a hefty profit but I guess they'll argue that it's only fair payment for turning up up at Wolves on a wet miserable November Monday!
Chicken Dinner Time!! Profits of -3.01 today....

1/ I remember a lot of money coming for Cider Lolly last time he ran so it could be worth keeping an eye out for the same this time round – connections must be expecting him to turn up soon!
3/ I don’t think we’ll see Grand Vision coping with this right handed track – he didn’tLTO at Exeter and jumped left and that was with Joe Tizzard who knows him riding.

At Kempton today, Richard
Hills is riding Laaheb. Now that the collective groan has passed (and
that was just from me!) I should mention that he has ridden Laaheb a
total of 15 times in the past so he knows him very well. Of those fifteen
starts, seven have resulted in wins, three in 2nds and two 3rds - or in other
words in the money a dozen times!
